In 1922, cartographer Gago Coutinho and pilot Sacadura Cabral successfully completed the first aerial crossing of the South Atlantic, covering more than 8000 km in about 62 hours of flight. The Santa Cruz Hydroplane, with which they arrived in Brazil, is represented here in a stylized version in a notebook alluding to the Centenary of this feat. An exclusive edition of the Navy Museum.
