The Avieiro Boats and Other Traditional Tagus River Boats

Fernando Simões Dias followed the project for the Avieira Culture's candidacy for intangible national heritage for years, being part of its driving core from the beginning. Avieira and other traditional Tagus River Boats is the result of research, monitoring, and surveying all the boats on this river, excluding only those from its large estuary.

Fernando Simões participó durante años en el proyecto de la candidatura de la Cultura Avieira para conseguir la declaración del mismo como patrimonio nacional inmaterial y formó parte de su núcleo dinamizador desde el inicio. Las embarcaciones Avieiras y otras tradicionales del Tajo son el resultado de la investigación, seguimiento y relevamiento de todas las embarcaciones de este río, excluyendo solo las de su gran estuario.
