ASTROLABE AVEIRO WITH WOODEN BASE

Reproduction of the oldest Portuguese astrolabe, as attested by the mark of five small circles in a cross, from the year 1575. Found in the Aveiro estuary in 1994, it is now part of the emblematic collection of the Maritime Museum.
