Margarida de Magalhães Ramalho is a renowned researcher at the Institute of Contemporary History. With a unique career linked to heritage, she directed archaeological excavations at the Fortress of Nossa Senhora da Luz, in Cascais, and was part of EXPO’98 (1993-1998), where she curated several important exhibitions.
Since then, she has worked as a freelancer, curating exhibitions both in Portugal and abroad. She is also co-author of the Aristides de Sousa Mendes Virtual Museum and a regular contributor to leading publications, such as Visão História and the newspaper Expresso.
