Big Bang

Big Bang

We've all heard of the Big Bang theory, but do we really know what it's about? Why are cosmologists convinced that the Big Bang is an accurate description of the origin of the universe? Who were the scientists who struggled for this unorthodox theory to be recognised? And what, exactly, does Big Bang mean?

In this book, a great author of the genre explains the most famous and probably most important idea in the history of science with a clarity that no one has yet achieved. With fluid writing and a narrative filled with curious episodes, Simon Singh tells us the amazing story of the beginning of the cosmos.
