Naval Memories is a contribution, a body of material for an unofficial history of the various Portuguese navies over the last two centuries. The book contains a wide range of texts, addressing situations that occurred on board warships or merchant ships, or that were in some way connected to the sea, on our mainland coast, in the Azores and Madeira, in the Mediterranean, on the coast of Africa and even marching in Southern Angola.
