The Amazonia bowls are part of a collection resulting from a joint project between Bordallo Pinheiro and the Brazilian NGO Ecoarts Amazônia.
Each piece was inspired by the region's exceptionally rich flora and was only possible thanks to an extensive exchange of knowledge with those who live day to day in this vibrant mosaic of ecosystems, customs, colours, sounds and scents that is the Amazon rainforest.
A portion of the proceeds from the collection will go towards reforesting the Amazon region of Mato Grosso by planting native fruit trees in cities, rural areas and indigenous villages where Ecoarts Amazônia operates.
